Summer Vibe (under $50!)

Chiffon Cardi's are something I have fallen in love with lately, and this one just needed to have an outfit made for it. All these pieces total under $50, dressing for less much?! They look effortless and remind me of Free People or Urban Outfitters (which are some of my favorite stores) I would love to wear these… they make me want summer right now.. I think I'm gonna go take my summer pieces out of my closet :)

Take Me to… Paris!

Celeb Inspiration: Pleated Mini Skirt

Candice Swanepoel's camel-colored skirt is the perfect example of something effortlessly gorgeous, and timeless! I love the simplicity of the color scheme, and the touch of neutral accessories with a bit of shimmer. There are so many (inexpensive) alternatives to the skirt she is wearing though, and so many more outfits to be made! And let us not ignore the fact that all these options are under $25...

All-time Favorite Mascara

Along with fashion, makeup is something else I'm extremely fond of, and I figured I would share my all-time favorite mascaras with you guys! I always prefer a rubber-bristley wand compared to a fuzzy-brush style, I feel like I actually can lengthen and separate my eyelashes better. All of these mascaras wash off pretty easily with just water, but warning: the clump crusher "waterproof" isn't very waterproof (it's the same as the regular kind), but whatever you prefer! I usually apply two different mascaras for a falsified effect, try out different combos and see what works for you! My favorite combo is the clump crusher with the bourjois volume twisty one. I would be lost without mascara to say the least…

Little RED Dress

So, I know we always talk about the staple 'little black dress', but who forgot about the classic color, red? I love red, it's the hot tamale of colors, and it makes me feel like I'm on fire ;) Not literally of course, but red, it's the new black, and on sale for $42! (even better) Pair this with sleek black heels, gold, or maybe even more red. Classy!

STEAL of the day!

Adorable Urban Outfitter's dress for $10. You heard me.. $10 (it was $80)! It's an absolutely amazing deal and they even have all sizes left, as well as three colors to choose from. Holy mo, I want one in every color.. seriously it's a perfect summer day dress, and it's so cheap. It comes in black, so I might have to snatch that up too. Ah! I hope you all can feel my excitement and celebrate with me

'Leopardo' Sweater Dress

Sweater dresses are perfect for your inner girly girl that has to deal with frustrating weather (like myself in Michigan). This Leopardo Sweater Dress from Anthropologie looks amazing paired with a white button down and gold accessories, and can go with flats, heels, or boots! It's super versatile, plus I just love anything from Anthropologie! My only problem with them is their prices since I'm not willing to pay $50 for a tee, BUT, that's what sales are for, right? This dress is fairly priced considering its brand, but the Forever 21 button down is $8.80.. soo… yay!

Steal vs. Splurge

So, which one costs less? The left is a Leather Jacket from Blk Dnm costing a grand total of $795… while the right is a look-a-like Classic Moto Jacket from our favorite, Forever 21, for a total cost of $32… I mean, if budget is no limit, splurge my friends, but if you want the same look for less, and in a crunch.. you do the math!

Celeb Inspiration: Pleated Maxi

Lauren Conrad is definitely a big style inspiration for myself. She's classy, and doesn't do anything too weird. Her style's pretty much effortless and gorgeous, and I especially am in love with this maxi she paired with a chambray shirt. Sheer perfection! This look-alike skirt is $20 at Forever 21. Where would this world be without Forever 21?...and Maxi Skirts? Because I love those too :)
